Getting to Know Your Podcasting Dashboard
In this video we give you a tour of your podcasting dashboard. Colin talks about the differences between and Post and a Podcast, and shows you where all the commonly used functions are. You’ll be spending a lot of time on your dashboard uploading podcasts, dealing with comments and responding to comments so this video is well worth a look.
How to Publish a Podcast Episode
This video goes through how to upload your first Podcast to your The Podcast Host site. That includes creating a new Podcast episode, uploading your audio file, getting the settings right and then publishing it for the whole world to hear. How to Change Your Podcast Image for iTunes
When submitting your Podcast to iTunes, it chooses an image to represent your show. You can pick this image yourself and make sure it’s personalised to your podcast. This video shows you how to do that, and goes through a few of the requirements for the image. So you know, the image should be square, and it should be 1400 pixels high by 1400 pixels wide. It should also be either a jpeg or a png file.
How to Publish Your Podcast to iTunes
This video takes you through the process of posting your podcast to iTunes, something that can seem a little daunting at first. There are also many error messages that can pop up when you’re submitting the feed, but if you follow the instructions here all will be well.
Cancelling Your The Podcast Host Account
While we’re obviously sorry to hear you go, sometimes it has to end! And we want to make things as easy as possible for you. The first thing to know is that you always have control over your subscription at The Podcast Host. It’s managed through Paypal, so you can, at any time go into Paypal and cancel your subscription, ensuring that you pay only as long as you want to. To do this, go into Paypal and find your recurring payments, located in your profile area. You should see a list there of all the subscriptions you currently have in Paypal. From here you can quickly and easy cancel your subscription with us. We would really appreciate any feedback you have on why you wanted to end your membership – anything you can tell us about how to improve the site would be greatly appreciated! Just drop us a note on the contact page.
