Would you like to get yourself out there by being interviewed on other podcasts? If so, how do you go about it?
That’s what we were asked about on this episode of Podcraft – the show about everything podcasting, from equipment to monetization and everything between.

The subject came about as we answer yet another listener question. We love hearing your questions, so please get in touch!
This week, it’s a question sent in from Lisa. She asked:
“How do I go about getting booked as a guest on other podcasts?”
First of all, you have to be honest about why you want to be on other podcasts – is it to promote your own podcast, or maybe to build your personal brand?
Then, you need to identify a podcast that you’d actually like to be interviewed on – baring in mind that not all podcasts are interview shows. Listen to the show, make sure it’s right for you.
We also chat about what to do when it comes to actually reaching out to a podcast producer/presenter. It’s all about trying to catch the attention of someone – so maybe record an audio file/video rather than just a plain email. It’s all about making yourself stand out.
Finally, we talk through some different tools to help you along the way, one being PodcastGuests.Com. There, a number of podcasts put out announcements asking for guests on their show. It’s also possible to put yourself out on this site and advertise yourself as a guest.
On the flip side, if you’re looking to find podcast guests, we do have an article for that which can be found here.
That’s everything for this episode. Once again, let us know your questions and we’ll answer as many of them as we can. Here’s a reminder of where you can find us:
